I am indeed very blessed.
Here are a few pictures of one of the biggest blessings in my life:
Playing with his Tonka Airplanes...
These last two pictures are for my Tante Elfriede in Germany, who checks my blog from time to time. ("Tante Elfriede loves us!") We've got a old trunk from my Mom's side of the family sitting under the window in Ben's room. Ben's got a nap blanket on it and enjoys sitting and reading there from time to time. Last week he was going through some books and I took some pictures. Today my Mother saw the photos and told me that she and her sister had been talking on the phone last night and Tante Elfriede had mentioned "Haeschen Schule" ("Bunny School") - the same book that Ben is reading here in this photo. It was such a coincidence that I just had to post these photos here for my Tante Elfriede. :)
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
