Tim went out with Ben on Saturday to put up a couple of the hunting blinds at one of the farms we hunt. The fields are thick with tall corn and it was tough to walk as it's planted right to the field edges. Ben was a good hiker, but in some spots the weeds were just too tall and thick and Tim had to carry him. They enjoyed their adventures together!

Tim found that in one of our favourite spots to put a blind there was a larger area of corn that was down and damaged by either deer or raccoons, likely both:

Saturday would have been my Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary so Mom and I decided to leave town and take a road trip. After stopping at the cemetery, we headed to Stratford and took a little stroll at the river. The swans posed for us:

Then after going out for supper, we headed west and arrived in Goderich just in time for a gorgeous sunset. What a work of art! These pictures don't do it justice at all. After watching the sun go down, we turned around and headed back home. Was really nice to spend so much time together!
