It's Monday...

Well, Monday is here. Tim's working afternoons this week so it feels like a long weekend! After the perfect weather weekend there are showers in the forecast so I'll over-seed the lawn. Most of our property is in shade so every year the grass needs help. I don't use any chemicals because of Ben & Trudi - we use corn gluten meal, weed by hand, over-seed annually and spread compost in the gardens. It's not a showpiece, but it's not bad.

On the scrapbooking front, I'm participating in my first ever "swap" - this one is for chipboard. I stayed up last night finishing mine - I was so in "the zone", I just couldn't stop! It was SO MUCH FUN! Love when that happens.

I have another layout on the go that I'm almost done, it's of Ben sleeping "beautiful dreamer". A couple of weeks ago I worked up the nerve to take some photos while he was napping - love they way they turned out. Will post the layout when I finish it.

In the meantime, here's one of my favorite recent layouts of Ben. It was one of those moments when the house was too quiet - when I went to look for Ben this is what I found... (and yes, that's Bowhunting Magazine!)
